Culture Establishment Instructions:

It is recommended to aliquot 1 mL of primary culture into a sterile transparent tube with an aeration cap and mix thoroughly with 1 mL of fresh medium for culturing. Place the tube in an incubator or environment under the recommended conditions stated above. Swirl the culture tube daily to resuspend the settled algal cells. The color of the culture should turn green within 1 week.

*Algal cells may adhere to the walls of the culture tube; this is normal and will not affect culture quality.
