Product Details:

Volume: 500mL/1000mL

Contains Euterpina acutifrons and Tisbe biminiensis

Benefits:

1. Improve tank ecosystem health: Serve as a key food source for many juvenile fish and invertebrates.

2. Excellent live feed: Their high protein content and essential fatty acids make them an excellent live feed option for larval fish and crustaceans.

3. Help clean your tank: Copepods are feeding on organic matter and contributing to the breakdown and recycling of nutrients in the tank ecosystem.

Simply just add the copepod into your tank as seed and they will seed and reproduce in your tank.

Copepods are superior food organisms for fish and crustaceans. They are known to have greater digestability and a relatively high weight specific caloric content. They are also more nutritionally valuable than some strains of Artemia. Copepods are very suitable suitable for larvae with small gapes, which Artemia would be too large for them to ingest.

Harpacticoida is an order of small copepods that play a vital role in aquatic ecosystems. Harpacticoids are rich in essential fatty acids, which are vital for marine larval development.  In addition, the growth stages of both calanoids and harpacticoids, from first nauplius to adult, provide a broad spectrum of prey sizes. This makes them suitable prey for a similarly broad range of develop-ing fish sizes.

Our live cultures are ready-to-use, making them a convenient and effective addition to your breeding tanks or aquaculture systems. Simply introduce them to your setup and watch your aquatic life thrive.
